Are you insured by law?
Most German insured persons are in statutory health insurance. The selection of patients at the doctor is particularly strong here. Privately insured are often preferred.
In addition, the costs in the minimum contribution are 336 euros. In the maximum amount, the costs are even 700 euros including long -term care insurance.
Caution: compulsory insurance & cost trap
Health insurance has been a compulsory insurance in Germany since 1883. In addition to the contributions that are difficult to calculate, the payment of criminal contributions is a major hurdle for admission. These are collected if no advance insurance can be proven.
About 160,000 people are there without health insurance
Since December 28, 2009, German citizens have been available to European health insurance in order to avoid this problem and debt trap. In addition to the fair price/performance ratio, the focus is on protecting the insured. Even with negative Schufa and previous illness, you can use the protection of European health insurance. By securing European health insurance (EU-KV), you can ensure that you receive optimal care in the event of an accident or a serious illness. This European insurance cover is characterized by the fact that there are no limits to the fee schedule (GOÄ / GOZ).
For whom European health insurance pays off?
For everyone who comes from abroad, cannot be insured or not insured, European health insurance can be a good solution - for limited time or for longer.
Did you know that your treatment is a chief of the EUKV? Many insured persons want the advantages of privileged treatment, as is often the case with private patients. In addition to chief physician treatment and a single -bed room, the EUKV offers you the takeover for remedies (100%, e.g. massages, etc.).
What advantage does the EU KV offer compared to the statutory health insurance?
As an policyholder of European Health Insurance, you will receive an increased performance for a lower monthly contribution in the “Start” tariff variant. For example, the costs for a 39-year-old man with previous illness at 192.45 €. In addition, you enjoy protection in all European countries and without having to get any further documents.
Here you will find a performance overview or a performance comparison of our tariffs.
But be careful, unlike in the statutory insurance, you have to ensure that you provide retirement. Nursing insurance must also be taken out separately.
For legal reasons, it is currently not possible to switch to European health insurance for customers of private or statutory health insurance. According to German law, the EU-KV has no longer been recognized as legitimate health insurance insurance since 2016, but this is necessary to terminate the existing contract. According to §193 VVG, the EUKV meet the EEA insurers, including Morgan Price and ALC only partially the compulsory insurance in Germany.
Risk reserves in old age and the prescribed contributions to long term care insurance are not included, here separate contracts must be concluded and reserves must be formed. Due to this currently applicable regulation, it is not recognized as subsequent insurance. Therefore, we can currently only convey uninsured customers to the EU KV who are a very good alternative to statutory or private health insurance due to non-raised criminal contributions, as well as negative Schufa information. In the event of illness, European health insurance ensures it against financial risks.
For decades, the EEA service providers have been offering millions of customers worldwide the best performance at a similar level as German PKV’s as customers of a PKV or GKV do you still want to optimize your tariff and find the tariff that suits your situation?
